- How long does it take?
- Style previews land in your inbox within 24 hours of your intake. Once you approve the look, the finished book takes another 3–4 days for the digital book. The printed hardcover takes three to four weeks, because it’s printed to us first and checked by hand, and it has no rush option.
- What if I don't love the previews?
- You get three rounds of revisions on the previews before anything is printed. Tell us what feels off and we rework it.
- What ages is this for?
- Ages 3 to 7. We tune the sentence rhythm, page count, and vocabulary to how your child reads right now: a 4-year-old book has short lines and lots of picture; a 7-year-old book has longer pages and more story.
- How do I read the book to my kid?
- You get a private link that opens on any iPad or phone. No app to install, no login for your child. It works offline once loaded. Add it to their home screen and it launches like an app.
- Is it a gift?
- Tell us on the intake and we’ll include a printable certificate addressed “a gift from {your name}” that hands over cleanly. The recipient parent gets a fresh redemption link — the buyer never has to share their own.
- What do you do with our photo / personal details?
- The photo is a drawing reference — used by us and by the illustration tools we draw in. What you get is an illustration inspired by your child, not a photograph of them. When your book is delivered we send you a link to delete it or keep it on file for a second book, for up to six months from when you sent it, because children change fast. - Can I make another story for the same child or group?
- Yes. Write to us through the story idea form and we’ll talk through what a second story could be.
- Is it made with AI?
- Yes. A custom LLM pipeline drafts each story from your answers, then I read it aloud and rewrite whatever doesn’t sound right for your child. The illustrations come from AI image models and the narration from an AI voice. You approve the look before anything is final.
- Can I get a printed book?
- Yes, as a printed hardcover. You approve the character and art before anything is printed, and each copy comes to me first so I can check it before it ships. Order it at littlefables.app/book.
- Who’s behind Little Fables?
- One small studio. The person who reads your note is the person who reads every draft aloud, edits the story and reviews the art. That’s deliberate: it’s what makes each story specific to the child or group it is about.
